Woodside Gift THE WOODSIDE GIFT IS COMING - Saturday, 18th DecemberThe inaugural Woodside Gift, Gippsland's Premier Sporting and Cultural Festival Carnival is being run on Saturday, 18th December 2010. The Woodside Gift is the latest licensee of the Victorian Athletic League (VAL) and will form part of the 20 event running season which begins in September of each year. Woodside is located approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne in some of Austalia's finest country, located in the heart of Gippsland, on the Ninety Mile Beach. Woodside has been chosen as a location for this event due to its central location to neighbouring towns Traralgon, Sale, Bairnsdale and many more. The day will feature twelve athletic events including the prized 120 metre gift for men and women, the 120 metre gift for the quickest footballer and netballer in Gippsland as well as 400 metre veterans event and the 120 metre gift for AFL footballers. The day will also feature a gourmet food & wine festival featuring produce from all over Gippsland. There is also a family fun area with entertainment for the kids. Santa will be in attendance with plenty of giveaways! Come along for what is going to be a day action packed with entertainment.
